Therapy works best when you feel safe enough to show up as you are. No perfect words. No judgement. Just honest conversation and genuine support.

MY STORY
The common thread was always people.
I came to counselling after a career that took me through some seemingly very different worlds, including software development, medical research, human resources, disability management and employee advocacy.
The common thread through all of them was people. Again and again, my work brought me alongside people navigating difficult circumstances, complicated systems and decisions about what came next.
Those experiences shaped many of the values I bring to counselling today. I care deeply about dignity, autonomy, informed consent and people’s right to make decisions about their own lives. I believe people deserve to be listened to with curiosity and respect, especially when their experiences are complicated or difficult to put into words.
MY APPROACH
You don’t need the right words.
You just need somewhere to start.
My approach is trauma-informed, relational and collaborative. There isn’t one formula for therapy, so what we do together will depend on you, what we’re working through and what you find genuinely helpful.
Narrative Therapy is a particular influence on my work, and I also draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), attachment theory and nervous-system-informed approaches.
But therapy is more than a collection of techniques. I bring warmth, curiosity and humour into the room, along with a genuine appreciation for the complexity of being human. There’s space for the hard stuff, the messy stuff and everything in between.
Yes, I know my stuff.
My practice is grounded in professional training, ongoing learning and a commitment to providing thoughtful, ethical care.
